I thoughly enjoyed an retreat evening at the fat ewe farm, I was able to

enjoy the farm surrondings as the chores were completed and had a chance to see many different animals and pet some.

The Decor of the cottage is fantastic and the breakfast of kiche, sausage, bacon, homemade buns, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee was enjoyed with the 2 other guests affording us a chance to meet new friends

I went for a getaway back to the farm and nature and i was not disappointed.

I would recommend Eileen's Fat Ewe Farm to anyone,it is great.

Hello Diann,

How wonderful to hear from you and thank you ever so much for all your kind words. From White Rock to here is around 17 hours or 16 as Brianna drives. I am closer to Lloydminster than any other bigger ciy, but that is a little over an hour south and east.

Isn't the trail something? I love to walk the land and see what I can find. The dogs run here and there, snooping under logs and chasing imaginary rabbits and real porcupines. It is really good for the spirit to be in the middle of the forest. I throw my hands up and sing with them and I am thankful to the Creator for such magnificence.

And you truly are a blessing. Thank you for your prayers. Lucy contacted me. Her husband is working in Elk Point and she did say she will stop in. I am delighted and hope you will too one day. Blessings to you. Namaste.

Hey Cuz....I have been checking your blog every so often and am just so happy that you share what is happening. It is truly a journey of God's greatest miracles of life. living in nature and with nature as you are ...what a blessing. I do realize all the hard work and dedication that it takes to bring together your dreams and providing a place for others to also share in some of what you are doing.

Have to say that I really enjoyed walking the trail with you through your pictures. That is great.

You are a true steward of the land and the earth and we all need to take a lesson from you...even if it is just to respect mother nature and clean up after ourselves.

On another note...I pray that you are well and stay thus. You are always in my prayers and in my heart.

How long of a drive is it from White Rock to your place?

Well have to get going...hugs.

Love you bunches, your Cuz Diann

Today I had to reflect on several things as firstly I went up to the local hospital emergency to have an infection on my hand and wrist looked at. They hooked me up to an IV drip to give me antibiotics and the first thing I thought about was the peep. Is there a big difference? Maybe if there is medication available for the animals they should be given it. I don't know. And then a little later I went into town and had a service recall done at the dealership with no wait or hassle, and they even washed and vacuumed the car. Sometimes life seems too smooth. I then went to the bank and completed 4 different functions at the ATM in about 3 minutes and thought life is pretty easy. I then thought I would go to the grocery store to maybe pickup a few things that I really probably didn't need. With the exception of some fresh broccoli and one other thing I had all of the other things at home but bought more. That one other thing was a 2 litre carton of rich chocolate ice cream on sale @ $3.49 and I immediately thought about your crazy whim of buying the drum stick for $3.29 and I'm not sure what you did. I know I have all this rich ice cream sitting in my freezer which I really do not need. Life in Fluffy's world is definitely a little more difficult and one where you are brought into reality. Stay the course and all your city dweller friends and followers will be encouraged.

Man, that Greensleep bed in the master room is comfortable! Cheryl and I turned out the lights and the next thing we knew, it was 9 am. Both of us slept like babies under the down comforter too. Next visit we want to try the soaker tub together;).Thank you very much. We will be back!

Hey Cuz...I love your site...been here a few times and never got a note out to you.  I was telling a client of mine about what you are doing and about the B&B.  Skip who is 70 and like a mother say...Hey why don't we go there this summer and see how your cousin is doing?  Which by the way I had been kind of thinking about coming out to see you myself.

So I have emailed  you web address to Skip for her to check out what you have to offer.

One question....about how many hours to drive to your place...say from Kelowna? I know that from my place to Kelowna is 5 1/2 hours.

Well ... hope you are well...how so very exciting it is to see what you are doing. Your new location with the houses looks wonderful.

Love you dear heart...stay well. ....Diann:D
